KOKOS Token

The KOKOS token is the governance token for the Kokonut Swap protocol. Users can stake KOKOS tokens to take part in i4i’s decentralized governance and receive rewards. i4i’s governance will be in the form of KOKOS-based DAO; in the long term, decisions around protocol coefficients such as fee rates or the distribution of newly minted KOKOS tokens, and even fundamental authority over its smart contracts(upgrade authority) will all be put under the DAO’s governance boundaries.

Tokenomics

The maximum supply of KOKOS is 134,844,000. 8,700,000 of them are allocated to Initial Liquidity Contribution(ILC) and initial pool liquidity. 1 KOKOS is minted and distributed per block for the next 126,144,000 blocks. Every KOKOS token supplied after each block is entered through Liquidity Mining(LM), Liquidity Contribution(LC), community pool, and team compensation. KOKOA governance staking pool would also receive block-wise airdrops in order to bootstrap the i4i community with the wider Kokoa community.

Initial Supply

The initial supply of KOKOS is 8,700,000. 300,000 KOKOS will be added to the initial pool liquidity along with 900,000 KSD. Another 7,000,000 KOKOS will be rewarded to ILC participants linearly over 24 months and another 1,400,000 KOKOS are also linearly rewarded over 24 months to participants who acquired Priority Ticket by staking more than 10,000 KOKOAs.

Token Emission

Block-wise KOKOS emission is distributed as below. sKOKOS is the governance(staked) token of KOKOS. sKOKOS in the parenthesis means that KOKOS is staked automatically and then rewarded as sKOKOS.

• KOKOA Staker 2% (sKOKOS)

• Team: 20% (sKOKOS)

• Liquidity Mining: 50% (sKOKOS)

• Liquidity Contribution: 20% (KOKOS)

Liquidity Mining

Liquidity Mining is a reward system for liquidity providers to the protocol. Users can earn KOKOS by providing liquidity to pools such as KSD4NUTS. Liquidity mining rewards will be distributed to the KOKOS governance staking pool and KSD4NUTS pool.
